The present moment is always where our power is. Right now, right here, is the only place we have to stand. We can’t create

from twenty years ago, or five, or last week, or yesterday. We can only create from right now. That power is available to everyone, in every “now”. We have only to

decide how we are going to use it.

Affirmations should be spoken in the present tense. After all, there is only now. Now is where we live. We can’t live in

anything but the present.You might say, but my now is the way it is because of what happened in the past.And in a sense you’d be right.

But it’s not the

events that happened that determine your now, it’s whether you are bringing them along with you into all the succeeding nows.

It’s like closing our eyes and

saying, “Everything I want is in the next room”. But every room we go into, becomes THIS room. We are never actually in the next room. By saying, “Everything I

want is in the room I am in now”, then wherever we are, that’s where it all will be.Formulate a statement that expresses what you desire to be; put it in the present

tense; preface it with a statement of your gratitude that you have it.

I am so grateful now that I am prosperous and wealthy.

am healthy and strong.

I am so happy that I am loved and valued in my relationships.

I am so grateful that I am a powerful creator of my own

experience, and I create only good for myself.

Write them down. Say them out loud. Just running them through your mind doesn’t formulate them in the solid

kind of way that makes them most effective. We tend to think of them then as “just another thought” and they get mixed in with all the other

thoughts.

We’re trying to generate power by doing this, energizing the pattern so that we attract the actions, inspirations and ideas that will let us bring

it into being. So we need to give it the attention that something this important deserves.Repetition. If what we desire is far from what we have, we have done a lot of

repeating of the “bad” stuff in the past. Until we learn the new words “by heart” we have to counteract that old program by repeating the new one.If you are ill and

desire to be well, but can’t see how that will ever happen, you can start with ideas like this.

I am willing to let go of the need for this

condition.

I am willing to release my energy from this condition.

I am happy that I am looking at

alternatives to what I have now.

I have been healthy in the past and so my body knows how to do this.

If I

take small steps I can make improvements.

As you gain confidence you can work up to more definite statements that express your true desire:

body knows how to be healthy.

Conditions change all the time.

I know that the universe contains infinite

energy that I can use for healing.

I am happy that I have the desire to do this; desire contains within it all that’s necessary for

manifestation.

I am happy that I am a healthy person.

You can apply this kind of process to any

situation. And you will see that you can incrementally feel better and better, until you are able to embody the energy of whatever it is you desire. When you do that,

the manifestation appears.

For those of you who know me...
I am a "Motivational Coach" aka

Life Coach!
I began this Journey with my husband as my Mentor.
I have

been reaching out and doing my best daily to
help people know about The

Law of Attraction for five
years now.

Yesterday, I witnessed and

amazing "testimonial" of
the actions and words that one person took to

help
an elder learn to have Faith and Believe!

Here's what

happened...

Yesterday, a contractor who is in his 70's was

talking
to another contractor who was younger by about 10 years.
He

said, "What do you think about the economy? It's not
going to recover this

time, is it?"

The response from the younger contractor was so
profound that it brought a "warm fuzzy" to my day.
He responded with, "It's

going to be fine, if we all
just Believe!" He went on to say, "We simply have

to keep spending and creating energy. If everyone
keeps thinking and

worrying about the 'lack of' or
the economy not recovering...that is exactly

what
will happen. Everyone can turn this around if they
just have

Faith."

truth because the Universal
Laws are not controlled by the government or

any
other than ourselves.

The Universal Law states:

called the Law of Compatibility because

compatible desires and
needs. When we create a visualized thought form,

reaches out into universal mind, other people are also
forming

similar thought forms, which are compatible to
ours. Through the magnetic

principle of attraction of the
subconscious mind, these compatible desires

and needs
meet. We are drawn into each others creations through
compatible (like) desires and needs. This "like attracts like"
action is an

expression of the Law of Attraction.

The truth is that

the abundance of the universe is
unlimited. There is enough to go around.

You must be
honest with your inner self. Believe that the event will happen,

and follow the signs and paths to make it happen.

*Mental doubt

is like a poison to us when it comes to
activating the Universal Law of

Attraction in our lives.
In other words, the desire we create in our minds must

be strong and clear enough for us to then create a strong
expectation

that our desire will happen. Then the strong
expectation will stimulate us to

respond with the needed
physical activity to manifest the goal, activating the

Law
of Attraction.

busy....

Then you haven't found your calm.

Yes, we all

need to be busy...creating...

stirring up energy....utilizing our talents!

But, we "must"...let me say that again....

"MUST" be able

to have time in our

lives where we have quiet time...calm moments

in which we can listen to our

inner spirit!

I

have been observing people for years

who work so hard that when

they

finally have a moment to sit down and relax....

and

they fall asleep!

It's common sense that

this is due to the exhaustion

that they have brought on

themselves.

If you learn to find time everyday to find

your

"Calm Place"

(as I like to call it)

and just let your mind

release all thoughts and tension....

You will

find that when

you train the mind

to have "down time" you will not

only

find peace but you will find

more energy to deal with

the "whole" day!

Meditation is one of the Greatest Gifts you can give

your mind.

There are too many people

who don't "gift"

themselves this "quiet" time.

For years I have been living across the street from a couple who

always had a perfectly groomed yard. I often admired their passion

for keeping it so beautifully catered to.

One day I saw the man who lived there walking around with a

cane. I came to the conclusion that he must have had hip surgery

and that he was healing. Then many months later I didn't see him

anymore. Yet, his family would drive up in several cars every week-

end and do the mowing and trimming.

Then, one day a hospital equipment company truck pulled up and

delivered a hospital bed. For days the family would come and go

staying hours and hours. Some of them would cut the trees and

bushes and others would lay out mulch and rake.

And then that day came...when the equipment truck came back

and retrieved the bed. My heart sunk. Knowing that this was a sign.

Not more than a few days after my grandmother's big 90th

birthday party, I received a call from my grandmother. She asked

if I knew the address to a certain family in my area. She told me that

her and the woman had been friends in their youth and that her

husband had passed away.

Instantly I knew, that must have been the gentlemen that lived across

the street from me. I told my grandmother the story and she said,

"You must walk over there and introduce yourself.

She is one of my dearest

friends and I want her to know that you are my grand-daughter."

This past weekend we had a city wide garage sale day and there

across the street was my grandmother's friend sitting out

with her daughter with a few items out in her driveway.

So - I walked across the street. "Hello, I am your terrible neighbor

who lives across the street." I said.

"I feel so terrible that I haven't come over

sooner to introduce myself....but I had to on the request of my

grandmother."

The smiling woman looked at me and without any moments to

spare said,

"Who is your grandmother?" I told her and she lit up like a bright

shining light. It was awesome.

She said, "Your grandmother and I had so much

fun working together when I was younger.

She trained me at the job we worked together at. I was only 17."

She went on to tell me how great my

grandmother was and how she made her feel so at ease

with the new job.

But the thing that really got my attention was the way she "lit up"

every time she mentioned how much fun they had....

It was as if she was remembering the times they spent together

as if it were happening all over again.

Her energy was so contagious. She must have said, "we had

so much fun together" at least 4 times. And every time she would

"glow" and giggle like a little girl.

I visited with her for almost an hour, then went back across the street

and called my grandmother.

She was so "tickled" that I had talked to her long time friend.

After catching her up on our conversation,

I had to ask...."Grandma, why did she giggle

every time she talked about how much fun you had?"

Grandma laughed! Then she told me about what the "girls"

would do after work. They would go to one of the restaurants in town

and sit and drink cocktails and laugh for hours

before going home. She said they would laugh and laugh

for hours and it WAS so much fun.

There it was - Oh my gosh - there was that same giggle...

the one my neighbor lady had. It was great!!

Hearing my grandmother at the

age of 90 giggling like a teenager.

After talking to her for an hour, I finally got off the phone and

realized that I had brought these two woman

back to a time that was so special to them.

And I was so "Thankful!"

See, it's not just the energy we create for ourselves that is important.

It is just as important to give others that "energy"!!

Many years ago I watched the movie The Jazz Singer.

I have always loved what a beautiful love story and

success story it was...But last night I watched it again...

and saw something that never stuck before.

The most important part of life is when we discover "our

self" - Our purpose!

I must admit I was so touched when the main character

of the movie found himself so distraught that he walked

away and found himself on a bus...then in a tavern singing

"You are my sunshine"...He took the time to really re-discover

who he was and what his life was about...then the band member

came in to the tavern to show him that life had continued to go on

even without his presence in California. He had now discovered

that he had more purpose than before....a son....

What an eye opening experience to so many!

I honestly believe that every time some thing happens that touches

our heart it is a "sign". A sign that we are given as a gift!

I am so "Grateful" for movies such as The Jazz Singer so that

we can be reminded that on our Journey we can grow

and even sometimes be taught a lesson in life without

going any further than our TV.

I lived in Alabama on a half-acre lot

blessed huge oak trees

that were 40 feet in diameter. They were HUGE! The

house

was laid out such that every bedroom faced the backyard.

Each bedroom had a large picture window. The view was

breathtaking. I enjoyed just looking at the trees. In the fall I

would

identify a particular leaf that was falling and watched

it for what seemed liked 5

minutes before it fell to earth.

One day I invited this married couple over to

enjoy the view

from the bedroom window. I took them into the bedroom

and excitedly pointed to the trees out of the window and

exclaimed,

"just look"!

After about 20 seconds there was no comment from the

couple. I however, noticed a big frown on the woman's face.

I

said, "What's wrong". She was reluctant to reply.

I insisted and again said,

"What's wrong?"

She relented and said, "Don't you see those fingerprints

on

the glass?"

I turned and looked and there were what seemed

to be fifty

or more fingerprints on the glass. I ran for the Windex to

clean the glass. The lady "Oh, I didn't mean for you to clean

it

now."

The morale here is this. That lady never saw the trees.

Even when I tried to point them out, She missed it! I didn't

see the

fingerprints. I was looking through the glass not at it.

When the fingerprints

were pointed out to me, I saw them

and removed them. The lady never saw the

trees. She

focused on the fingerprints and she never got passed

them.

Life is much like that. There are things in life that are good

and things that are bad. You choose which things you want

to focus

on. I focus on the trees.

What is the law of attraction?

share of really down in the dump

days....which I now realize were just wasted days,

unproductive days, time that I lost....

Even when I was ill

recently with a severe sinus

infection I took the time to gather information from

the

television....(which by the way I don't watch much

of)!

I watched cooking shows when I

couldn't lift my

head...but the sound of the excited and energetic

chefs were my

"feed" into my subconscious of positive

influence!! It worked....I found myself

smiling

even when I was in pain....

I watched dog shows and pet training shows

because

animals have a way of touching our heart. Just to

see the incredible

creatures that our creator has given

us to do so many things and yet they all

depend

on us to care for them...when all reality they "take

care of us" - by just being

them!!

And as I started to feel better, I started to watch older

movies that brought

me to my Now...what do I

mean...well, everything we have done in the past has

brought us to where we are now...(The Law of

Attraction). And I used to watch

a lot of romantic

movies because years ago I was in a relationship to

which I didn't

wish to be! So, I re-fueled my heart

with the movies that I watched then that made me

feel

warm inside and happy about being loved....and it

brought me to the realization

of how "Happy" I am

now!!! Because the movies I watched are the reality

that I live

now!!

Sometimes we should do this to remember how

"Blessed" we are!!

"You may believe that you are responsible for what you

do, but not for what you think.

The truth is that

you are responsible for what you think, because it is

only at this level

that you can exercise choice.

The Note Book was the first movie that my husband

and

partner for life watched together....and we both

knew when we watched it was exactly what we

both

desired in life - to be together forever and ever!!

Now the funny part was - I had

never seen it before

him....and I watched You've got mail, Sleepless in

Seattle (at

least 3 times each - I was "down" for 3

weeks! LOL!) This movie was another one of

my feel

good movies for years...Only to have the fact that my

love was standing right

in front of me the day he

walked into my life!!

(For those who have just become

friends with me,

you should know that I was "unhappily" married

before and

abused....but....NOT ANY MORE!!)

But back to the subject....if you learn to control your

thoughts, words and actions - you can control your

emotions and

conditions....

So don't be afraid to "Surround Yourself with Love"!

can do in your life is to figure out

what you hope for. And the most you can do is live

inside that hope. Not admire it from a distance but

live right in it, under its

Sometimes I need to see my life differently. Like

stepping outside it and seeing it from a different

angle. Maybe walking around

it, underneath it

or climbing on top.

Better yet, through the eyes of a child. There is

nothing complex about what I am about to share

with you. In fact, the beauty of

it lies in the

simplicity.

I was talking to a friend about all the things I've

been

going through lately. We were sitting at a

table in an open coffee shop located in the

center

of a mall.

I love coffee and I love conversation.

Just as we began

speaking a woman with two

teenage girls took the table just behind us. They

were

rowdy and unsettled as they were talking

about all the shopping they were doing. Mom

reminded them to sit quietly while she placed

their order at the

counter.

Remarkably, they quieted down immediately.

"All I want to do is to get

through it," I said as we

continued our chat.

"I know what you mean," my friend

replied.

Then I said, "When I look back over my life all I

see is me dealing with a

problem and sooner or

later another one pops up."

Without hesitation I heard, "What

about all the

days in between?"

I looked at my friend and he shook his head as

he

said, "I didn't say that."

"I did!" a young voice replied.

Then from

behind him one of the girls turned

around, smiled, and repeated, "What about all

the

days in between?"

I smiled. I thought it wonderful that she felt she

had something to offer us.

"Explain." I said.

"Well, this is just my opinion, but

people always

think about their problems. What about all those

days in

between? Those days we throw away

worrying about what happened and what might

happen," she said.

"Those days

are good days, probably more of

those than the bad ones!" the other girl

added.

Just then the

woman returned. "Are they

bothering you?" she asked.

"No, they helped me see my

life differently," I

said. "Now I see the days in between."

"More of those than the

bad ones!" my friend

added.

Step 1- Make a Decision

Decide what you desire. This doesn’t

to be something huge.

Tip: Make a list of the benefits you’ll receive when

you achieve your goal. This will be important

when you get to that “slump” phase when

the decision loses the thrill of it’s newness.

a Commitment

Once you’ve made the decision, you need to follow through.

Step 3 - Take Action

So, you now made a decision and committed

yourself to it.

Distractions will try to get your attention. It’s critical
